Description
Riddings Lock on Sir John Ramsden's Canal, part of the Calder and Hebble Navigation, was built between 1774 and 1780. The lock features ashlar kerbstones, iron mooring hooks, and two wooden lock gates. It is accompanied by a stone bridge made from hammer-dressed stone, which has a depressed arch, a string course, and a parapet.
