Description
Red Doles Lock, part of Sir John Ramsden's Canal on the Calder and Hebble Navigation, was built between 1774 and 1780. It features ashlar kerbstones, iron mooring hooks, and two wooden lock gates. The structure includes a hammer-dressed stone bridge with a depressed arch, a string course, and a parapet.
