Description
Nos. 2 and 4 Queen Street is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and a pitched stone slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features a modillioned stone eaves cornice and rusticated quoins. The façade includes five ranges of sash windows with moulded surrounds; the second-floor windows are segment-headed, shouldered, and have keystones, while the central first-floor window is shouldered and topped with a segmental pediment. The ground floor has been modernized, except for the central door, which has four fielded panels and a fanlight, with reveals that include moulded plinths and imposts. The rear of the building has sash windows with glazing bars.
