Description

Two houses, now forming five dwellings as part of a terrace. The buildings date from the early 19th century, although the north elevation was rebuilt around 1900. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with some quoins to the south. The roof is covered in stone slate, featuring gable coping and a moulded kneeler on the south-east corner. The buildings are four storeys high. The two original dwellings were symmetrical at ground and first floor levels, with an entrance and three large casement windows to the ground floor, and a continuous 10-light window to the first floor, some of the lights being blocked. The house on the left has one three-light and one two-light window to the second floor, and a 10-light window to the third floor, with four blocked lights. The house on the right has two three-light windows to both the second and third floors.
