Description
White House is a detached house dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, though it has been significantly altered in the 20th century. The building features rendered walls and a tiled roof with hollow chamfered gable copings on moulded kneelers. It stands two storeys high and has an original central stone porch with a pitched stone roof and gable copings on moulded kneelers, decorated with a scroll pattern. The porch includes a deep arched lintel. Some double chamfered windows remain, although all the mullions have been removed. These windows consist of one 4-light window on the ground floor, two 3-light windows, and two 2-light windows on the first floor, with one of the 3-light windows located in the gable attic. Some head moulds are still visible, but there are also large modern windows present. The rear elevation has been completely modernised.
