Description

Nos. 43 and 45 Paris Road are a pair of houses dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof, featuring gable copings and a moulded eaves cornice. Three stone stacks are present. The houses are three storeys high. A central doorway is flanked by a single three-light window on each side, at both the ground and first floor levels. The second floor has a multiple-light window, with several blocked lights revealing two two-light and one three-light windows. A continuous sill band runs along the front. A later, unhistoric addition is present to the right-hand side.
