Description

South Clough Head is a 17th-century building located on Workhouse Lane. It was originally a single house but has since been extended and significantly altered. The traditional two-storey structure is made of stone and is now rendered, featuring a stone roof. The main (east) front retains original window openings, some of which are very long, although most of the mullions have been removed. The northern section, known as No 3, is of a somewhat later date. The rear of the building is plain.
