Description
Hainworth Farmhouse is a house that has been converted into two dwellings. It is dated 1783 but contains earlier features. The building is constructed of stone and has a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has three first-floor windows. The corners of the building are marked by quoins. The main entrance features a 20th-century door set in a plain stone surround, topped with a broken pediment and a plaque inscribed with '1783 AMR. And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business. God bless our King and realm and send us peace in Christ Our Lord. Amen'. The door to the second dwelling is located in a low porch addition on the left end of the building. Each floor has three 2-light flat-faced mullion windows. At the rear, there are some double-chamfered mullion windows, although the mullions have been removed.
