Description
Grange Farm House is possibly an early 17th-century building. It features a coursed rubble stone slab roof and stands two storeys high. The north front, which faces the yard, has a central stair window that extends over both storeys in the shape of a reversed L. This window includes mullions and transoms, along with latticed wooden glazing bars. Above this window, there are two-light windows with chamfered mullions, although the left-hand one has been removed. To the left on the ground floor is a doorway, and to the right is a window without a mullion that does not align with the window above. The south front has two four-light windows with chamfered mullions. Inside, there is a depressed arch leading to the main hearth, an early wooden cupboard to the right, and a muntin and plank partition next to the stairs. Grange Farm House is part of a group that includes the Annexe to Grange Farm House, the Outbuilding abutting Grange Farm House to the north, and the Barn to the north of the Grange Farm yard.
