Description

Nos 22, 24, and 26 on Castlegate are a pair of buildings dating from 1731. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble and feature a pantiled roof. The buildings stand two storeys high and have four bays. On the first floor, there are 19th-century sash windows, while the ground floor has modern fixed windows with glazing bars. A door is set within a plain stone architrave, and there is a date plaque as well as a fire insurance plaque. The first floor has a plaster floor.
