Description

This building is an 18th-century stable located behind and to the northeast of the Carpenters' Arms. It is constructed of hammer-dressed Magnesian limestone with a red brick second floor and features a corrugated iron roof. The stable has stone-coped gables supported by cut ashlar kneelers and stands three storeys tall. There are two doors and two blocked windows on the first floor, while the second floor has two miglazed wood lattice windows. Additionally, there are stone slate shelves for pigeons on the east gable end.
