Description
This barn, located approximately 40 metres behind the Cadeby Inn, dates from around 1800. It is constructed from coursed magnesian limestone rubble and features stone slate eaves courses beneath a pantile roof. The barn is two storeys high and has three bays with symmetrical facades and large quoins.
On the west side, there is a central waggon entrance with quoined jambs and a segmental arch that has a projecting keystone. Below this entrance is a rebated hatch that also features a similar arch and keystone. There are mid-height hatches on each side of the entrance, styled in the same manner, flanked by two rows of slit vents. The roof is hipped. The east side is similar in design, but the waggon entrance has been blocked up.
