Description
This is an early 19th-century ancillary building located to the south-west of Number 3, next to Paper Mill Dike. It may have been associated with an industrial process, but its decorative river-facing side suggests it could have been a former boat house. The building is constructed of brown brick with magnesian limestone dressings and features a pantiled roof. It stands two storeys high and has a pedimented gable end, which includes an arched window in the tympanum. There are two blocked openings facing the river, designed as three-centred arches with ashlar voissoirs and keystones, along with additional blocked openings on the first floor.
