Description

This is an early 19th-century building on the south side of Westgate. It is constructed from hammer-dressed Magnesian limestone and has a pyramidal pantiled roof. The building is three storeys high, with a first-floor band and three continuous sill bands running across its facade. It has three bays, each featuring a segmental-headed sash window with glazing bars. A door is located on the side elevation, and has four moulded panels and a semi-circular fanlight. The door is topped by a moulded and dentilled cornice supported by scrolled consoles.
