Description
This is a carriage house and granary located approximately 70 metres southeast of Tetley Hall, built in the late 18th century for George Stovin. It is constructed of red-brown brick and features a pantile roof. The building has a single-room plan with a later outshut to the north and is a single storey with an attic. The west front includes a carriage entrance with double board doors set beneath a segmental stretcher arch, and above this is a segmental-arched door on the first floor. The gable is stone-coped and has shaped kneelers. The outshut features a board door and a hatch to the right, along with a slatted ventilator, all beneath segmental arches and topped with a coped gable. This building is included for its group value with Tetley Hall.
