Description

The cross base, located approximately 9 metres west of the Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, dates from the 14th to 15th century. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a pedestal with an octagonal upper section resting on a square base, which has carved scrolls at the corners. The base includes a rectangular-section shaft that is set in a lead-jointed socket, broken flush with the top. The cross base measures approximately 0.70 metres square and has an overall height of about 0.35 metres.
