Description
This garden statue, located approximately 15 metres south of Burton Agnes Hall, is likely from the mid-18th century. It features an ashlar plinth that supports a lead statue of a peasant girl. The plinth is square in shape, about 1 metre high, and has a moulded base, panelled sides, and a cornice. The statue itself stands around 1.25 metres tall and depicts a girl in peasant dress, holding fruit in her apron and carrying a basket while wearing a hat. This statue is part of a group of 18th-century statues in the gardens.
