Description
The Dairy at Boynton Hall is a late 18th-century building constructed from chalk ashlar and rubble, with brick and a pantiled roof. This rectangular structure is designed in the Gothick style and features a gable entry. It stands two storeys tall and has a porch with three pointed arches beneath a lower gabled roof. The main elevation includes a central panelled double door set in a pointed surround, topped with a quatrefoil, and flanked by pointed openings. The upper storey is illuminated by two quatrefoils on either side of a pointed embrasure that has a trefoil at the top. The raised coped gable is adorned with a foliated finial. Inside, there is a stone gantry supported by pointed arches, decorated with trefoil and gunloop ornamentation. At the time of the re-survey, the building was disused and in a dilapidated condition.
