Description
The Lodge to Boynton Hall is a building from the late 18th century, with an additional bay on the left added in a similar style during the 19th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and coursed chalk rubble, featuring a rectangular plan with a central lobby entry. The original structure has a symmetrical elevation, is one storey high with an attic, and consists of five bays arranged in a 2:1:2 pattern. The door has six raised and fielded panels set in a deep pointed recess. All windows are sliding sashes with glazing bars, located in shallow pointed recesses. The building has a dentilled brick eaves cornice and axial stacks, with tumbled-in brick used for the raised gables.
