Description
The implement shed, built in 1849 for William Marshall, is located approximately 30 metres west of the cattle house at Enholmes Farm. It is constructed of orange-brown brick with orange rubbed-brick dressings and features cast-iron columns. The shed has a pantile roof and is rectangular in shape, aligned north-south, forming the west side of the farmyard, with a former stackyard to the west.
This single-storey structure consists of 16 bays, flanked by single-bay store-rooms. The east side has a central section where the roof is supported by alternating cast-iron columns and square brick piers with rounded angles. The store-rooms are accessed through single segmental-headed doors and have hipped roofs. On the west side, there are four board doors leading to the central section. At the time of the last survey, the shed was disused and partly derelict. It is part of a large early industrial farm.
