Description
The outbuildings at Hill Bark Farm are a farm building constructed in 1875 by J. Douglas. They are made of stone with a tile roof and are designed in an L-shape over two storeys. The west range includes stables and a barn, featuring stable doors with lintels that have relieving arches and 3-light small-paned casements above. The barn has an opening and a timber frame with brick nogging above, along with a canopy that has a cat-slide roof and sliding doors. To the right, there is an entrance with a gabled loading door above it, and an end opening with timber framing above and a gabled dormer. The north range, which consists of stores, stables, and a cart shelter, is similar in design. It includes a pitching eye in the raking dormer, a large opening under the canopy, a gabled dormer, a gabled loading door, and a 3-bay cart shelter. These outbuildings were built as part of a model farm for Hill Bark.
