Description

The former Owenite Hall of Science, built in 1839, is a three-storey building located at 17 and 19 Lord Nelson Street. It is constructed of stucco and features six bays. The ground floor includes two round-arched entrances, three round-arched windows, and a new carriage entrance in the middle, all adorned with cornices. Above, there is a sash window with glazing bars, and both storeys are linked by long recesses. The building is topped with a cornice and a plain parapet.
