Description

There are 43 lamp standards located on the Lime Street front of St. George's Plateau, dating from the mid-19th century. These lamp standards were designed by Alfred Stevens and are made of cast iron. Each standard features three dolphins entwined around the base. One lamp standard is positioned to the west of the portico of St. George's Hall, while the others are situated between the hall and Lime Street.
