Description
The Village Hall, originally a school, dates from the 1870s and is built from snecked stone with a tile roof. It is a single-storey building featuring a projecting gabled bay with a lateral stack on the left side. There is a sill course along the base of the walls. The end bay includes a window with a four-centred head, three cusped lights, and two transoms. To the left of the stack, the entrance has an enclosed porch with a timber gable and decorative barge boards. The stack is adorned with top arched panelling. At the left end, there is a fleche with an open timber stage and a lead spirelet, which was originally louvred. The left return has a four-light window with transoms and a four-centred head, while the right return features a similar design with a pointed entrance.
