Description

This pair of cottages, one of which is partly used as a shop, dates from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick in English garden-wall bond and feature a slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and each has two bays. The windows have brick reveals and horizontal sashes with glazing bars, except for the right-hand ground-floor window, which is a fixed window with glazing bars and a stone lintel. Each cottage has a door located between its two bays, topped with a cambered arch. There are chimneys on the gables and between the two cottages.
