Description
This is an early 19th-century coach house, located to the east of the north entrance of St Helen’s church, and abutting the churchyard wall. The coach house is constructed from sandstone ashlar with a slate roof. The front facade is narrow, featuring an entrance with a round arch and a keystone. Below the eaves is a small, horizontal opening with a sill. It is said to have been used as a hearse house.
