Description
This is a cross located on the south side of the junction with Ribbleton Avenue in Preston. The pedestal is likely from the late medieval period, while the cross itself probably dates to the late 19th century. It is made of sandstone and features a slightly tapered cubic pedestal with a plain cross on top. The design of the pedestal is similar to that of another cross restored as a war memorial in Longridge Road, Grimsargh, suggesting they may be part of the same series.
