Description

This disused limekiln, located 30 metres north of Bottoms Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from large, roughly squared limestone blocks and has a trapezoidal shape. The north wall features a segmental arch that leads to a vaulted opening. Behind this opening, there is a narrow flue that is lined with brick.
