Description

Farleton Farmhouse is a house dating from 1731 that has been altered over time. It is constructed of slobbered rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows have stone surrounds with slight chamfers, although the mullions have been removed. In the central bay on the first floor, there is a crude Venetian window, with the lower part of the central light blocked by an oval datestone inscribed with 'EC 1731'. The door, located in the central bay and covered by a modern glazed porch, has a plain stone surround.
