Description

The gatepiers at Stockbridge Lodge were built around 1849-51, likely by the architect Barry. They are made of sandstone ashlar and consist of two square piers featuring a base, an elaborate cornice, a blocking course, and a low pyramidal cap. The original gates are no longer present.
