Description
Sun Green Farmhouse and cottage, dating from the mid-18th century, are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a slate roof and brick chimney stacks. The farmhouse, known as No. 2, features a double-depth design with a central staircase and stands two storeys tall. It has a central door and a projecting plinth. On either side of the door, there are three and five-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows, although each has lost two mullions. Above the door, there is a later inserted window, flanked by a four and five-light flat-faced stone mullion window on either side. The cottage, designated as No. 3, is one bay wide and also two storeys high, with a door to the left and a five-light recessed flat-faced mullion window on each floor. Both buildings have two brick ridge chimney stacks and similar two and three-light gable windows. The right gable of the cottage is heavily buttressed.
