Description

No. 213 Chestergate is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is two storeys high, constructed of brick, and features a Welsh slate roof with brick chimney stacks at the gable ends. The building has a modillion eaves cornice and three windows that are hung sashes with glazing bars in wooden cases. The ground floor has two windows with three lights each, which do not have glazing bars. The doorway is notable for its attached columns and an open pediment, and it features a six-panel door with four glass panels below a semi-circular fanlight. An iron foot scraper is also present.
