Description
7 and 9 Church Lane is a pair of houses, currently used as offices, built around 1800. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature Welsh slate roofs. The buildings rise to three storeys, each with a three-window arrangement and a central entrance. The entrances have six-panelled doors set within rusticated stone architraves. The windows, which have plain stone architraves, have been extensively renewed and include 16-pane sashes, with the doorway featuring 12 panes above. The houses also have a moulded modillion eaves cornice and angle quoins on the left side. There are end wall stacks and a wide return gable that displays irregular fenestration along with a central doorway in a rusticated stone architrave.
