Lodge to Brookfield Unitarian Church, with attached churchyard wall and 2 sets of gates. Probably c.1870, probably by Thomas Worthington. Coursed sandstone rubble, slate roof. L-plan with projected gable to road and wing to right-hand side. Gothic style. Single storey under steeply pitched roof with very low eaves; segmental-headed doorway with 2-centred arched extrados and steep gable with fleur-de-lys finial breaking eaves close to junction with wing; mullioned window of 3 arched lights in gable to road, 2-light window in gable of wing. Coped gables, that of wing with coupled cylindrical chimneys; another chimney to left. Churchyard wall attached to front right hand corner, of coursed rubble with chamfered ashlar coping, carrying low spiked railings; gateway close to lodge and another close to west end, with decorated cast-iron gates. Forms part of group which includes the church (q.v.), the Peacock Mausoleum (q.v.) and the former Sunday School (q.v.).
