Description
Haulgh Hall is a house dating from 1597. It features a timber-framed and brick structure, rendered over, with a stone flagged roof. The building has an irregular shape due to several phases of development. It stands two storeys high and appears to have a two-unit plan, with an extension of a single bay at the rear. The gable wall facing the street has an exposed cruck frame and includes a single renewed window on each floor, along with an entrance in a gabled porch to the left. There is a timber-framed storey porch towards the centre of the return elevation, which also has renewed windows. The house has an axial stack and the remains of an early stone stack projecting from the rear wall. The interior has not been inspected.
