Description
Golborne Bridge, likely built in the late 18th century, spans Golborne Brook. It is constructed from ashlar red sandstone and features a chamfered semi-circular arch supported by low piers with a raised keyblock. To the north, there is a smaller arch, also for flood water, separated by a cutwater. At road level, there is a raised band and a long revetment wall to the south. The bridge has a plain parapet with rounded coping. An inscription reading "JF 1909" is located on the east side at the start of the ramp. Part of the bridge is situated in Handley parish.
