Description
Milton Green Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of Flemish bond orange brick with yellow headers, topped with a Welsh slate roof and featuring two gable brick chimneys. The building has a double-pile plan and is two stories high with a symmetrical three-bay front. It includes a stone plinth and a moulded stone cornice with a coped blocking course above. The end bays have 12-pane sash windows set under flat wedged stone heads. The central bay features a simple, semi-circular headed doorcase with a fanlight that has radial glazing bars, along with a six-panelled door. Inside, the farmhouse remains simple and unaltered, showcasing a bracketed stair with plain iron balusters and a mahogany handrail, as well as panelled doors and later 19th-century fireplaces.
