Description
No. 21 Castle Street is a town house, now used as an office, likely built in the 18th century and altered over time. The building is rendered, and its roof is not visible. It has two storeys and a double-fronted design. There is a step leading to the door, which has six fielded panels and a three-pane overlight in a remade timber case. On either side of the door, there are narrow horned 12-pane sash windows. The second storey features a band and three horned 12-pane sashes with painted stone sills, and wedge lintels with false keys. The west wing has been altered. The interior has all features covered. This building is included for its group value.
