Description
Gatehouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof with a tile ridge and central brick stacks. The eaves have dentils. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, along with an additional one-window block to the right and a projecting rear wing. The windows are rectangular timber casements, with two and three lights, and have tile cills beneath arched brick heads. The entrance features a four-panel door set beneath a timber porch topped with a single finial. The right gable is decorated with dentils in the form of an open pediment.
