Description
This folly, believed to have been an aviary, was built around 1906 by Richard Harding Watt. It features a rendered brick construction with a pantiled roof and is designed in the Edwardian Free style. The structure is circular in shape and open, supported by plain pilasters that hold up a conical roof topped with a lantern that mirrors the main structure's form. This folly is part of a notable group of buildings constructed along Legh Road under the patronage of Richard Harding Watt, which includes The Old Croft.
