Description

The war memorial, located in Earsdon on Front Street, was erected around 1919. It is made of granite and features bronze lettering. The memorial includes a statue of a marine positioned on a tall, square rock-faced granite plinth and pedestal, which has inset panels listing the names of those who died in the Great War from 1914 to 1918. Surrounding the memorial are iron railings supported by cast iron spiral posts.
