Description
Bleak Hope House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of Front Street in Earsdon, Seaton Valley. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has a basement and two storeys, with a three-bay façade. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door set within a Tuscan porch. The basement windows are blind, while the ground floor has sill aprons and the first floor features a sill band, with flat stone lintels above the sash windows that include glazing bars. The hipped roof has an eaves cornice and is adorned with two end corniced ashlar chimneys.
