Description
Barrington Place comprises a row of four substantial houses, numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5, dating from the earlier 19th century. The houses are constructed of ashlar with Welsh slate roofs, featuring stone gable copings, kneelers, and ashlar stacks with cornice bands. Each house is two storeys high and has three bays. The window reveals are plain, with many windows now containing modern glazing; two first-floor centre windows have been blocked. The doorways are topped with oblong fanlights, and number 5 has a pilaster and entablature surround. The houses have been altered, and they are listed partly for their group interest.
