Description

The Barras tomb, located to the south of the Stagg tomb in Norton, is a table tomb dating from 1819, commemorating Alice Barras. It features a top slab that is pitched and hipped, with corner antefixae decorated with palmette patterns. The tomb has a square sarcophagus with panelled sides and ends, as well as quadrant angled panels.
