Description
This stable, located about 10 meters northwest of Ormesby Grange Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century and was built in two phases. It is constructed of brick and features a clay pantile roof. The stable is two storeys high, with the southwest face displaying two stable doors, the one on the right having a later cambered head. There is a window at the left end with hit-and-miss ventilation in a reduced opening. All openings are topped with brick arches. The eaves feature stepped brickwork, and the left gable has tumbled-in brickwork. The roof is hipped at the right end. This building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
