Description

There are two gravestones located about 20 yards southwest of the Church of St. John in Lowick. These monuments, made of sandstone, date from 1791 and 1797.

The gravestone on the left is a small tablet with a simple domed top, dedicated to Adam Lee, who passed away in 1791. It also commemorates James, the son of Thomas Lee, who died on October 26, 1775, in his youth. This stone features good lettering.

The gravestone on the right is a larger tablet with a shaped top, honoring Thomas Lee, who died in 1797. It is inscribed with the words: "His heart was honest And his life sincere A loving husband And a parent dear." This stone also displays good lettering.
