Description
Belvina and the adjacent house to the east are a pair of houses that were originally built in the 18th century and remodeled around 1840. They are constructed from coursed rubble with squared stone dressings and feature a canted bay, topped with a slate roof. The left end has a stone stack, while the right end stack has been rebuilt in brick. The buildings rise to three storeys and consist of four bays, with the left bay projecting canted.
The doorways are located in the central bays; the left door has been renewed and includes an overlight, while the right door is flush-panelled and also features an overlight with geometrical glazing bars. Both doorways have alternating jambs. The canted bay contains 12-pane sash windows, with 8-pane sashes on the ground and first floors, and a 9-pane sash flanked by 6-pane sashes on the second floor. The second bay has margined sashes on the first and second floors, while the third and fourth bays have altered sashes. The rear elevation displays a tall round-headed stair window with intersecting glazing bars.
