Description
The garden walls at Tritlington Old Hall date from 1723 and are constructed of brick. The wall on the south side is laid in courses parallel to the ground and features a shallow stone coping. The taller wall on the west side has a central projection towards the garden, which includes a segment-headed arch with a keystone beneath a pediment. The wall on the north side has an elegant double-curved ramp that slopes down in the center. There is a terrace wall between the house and the main section of the garden that includes pilasters and steps leading down near the north end. The section on the far right, which connects with the barn, is from the 20th century and is not of interest.
