Description

Belford Mains Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1820. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a Welsh slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. A plinth runs along the base, and there are two steps leading up to a recessed six-panel door that has a four-pane overlight above it. The windows are twelve-pane sashes with projecting sills. The stone eaves add to the architectural detail, and the hipped roof is topped with two banded ridge stacks. Inside, the farmhouse includes a staircase with stick balusters, as well as six-panel doors and shutters.
