Description

This is a group of three Havery tombs located about 5 yards south of the Church of St. John, dating from 1751, 1754, and 1763. They are made of sandstone.

On the left is the tomb of Andrew Havery, from 1763, featuring a small tablet with scrolled corners and a top adorned with a cherub's head and wings. In the center is the tomb of John Havery, from 1754, which has a small tablet with a semicircular-pedimented top and fluted pilasters, along with a band of memento mori down the center. On the right is the tomb of Margaret Havery, from 1751, showcasing a small tablet with a broken-pedimented top, a moulded round arch with a keystone, and a primitive cherub with a winged head-dress.
